By nine you can be standing under a waterfall, with the jungle closing over your head. By six you can be on a cliff, watching the sun fall into the sea. In between there are rice terraces, temples and a long lunch. And a local driver who tells you honestly what still fits into the day.

Maybe you saw a photo and don't know where it was taken. Maybe you have one day and three things you refuse to give up. Tell us what's in your head and we'll build the day around it: the order, the timing, the hour when nobody else is there. Those are the days guests write to us about afterwards.

Six days we keep coming back to. Rice terraces and forest in Ubud. Four waterfalls, all before the afternoon heat. The east, where the mountain stands right behind the temple gate. The north, quiet, with lakes between the hills. The south, and the sun going down at Uluwatu. And Penida, where the cliffs drop straight into blue water. Pick one, then make it yours.

One of our vetted, English-speaking drivers is waiting outside your hotel in the morning — with cold water, snacks and Balinese coffee in the car.

Not included
- Entrance fees. We'll send you the current prices beforehand.
- Your meals. The driver's are covered.
- Anything with its own operator: rafting, ATV, snorkelling, boat trips.
- Pickups before 06:00, which carry a small surcharge.
- The driver's room, on the rare night we stay somewhere far from Ubud.
You pay cash in rupiah at the end of each day. Nothing upfront.

That is the price for the car and the driver, not per person. Two of you or six of you, the figure on the card is the figure you pay.
Booking several days
Most guests book us more than once.
A holiday has its own rhythm: a full day out, then a day by the pool, then another full day. That's exactly how you can book us.
Book Tuesday, Friday and the Wednesday after, and we'll hold those days for you. Same car, same driver, and by the third day your driver knows the pace you like.
There's a discount when you book several days. Send us your dates and we'll put a price on them.

A Toyota Innova with room to spread out
You'll spend a good part of the day in it, so it should be a comfortable place to sit: the air conditioning works properly, the cool box is within reach and nobody smokes in it. It's a five-seater with two seats that fold up in the back. Four of you travel comfortably with luggage, up to six if you're travelling light.
For bigger groups we can arrange a HiAce or an Alphard. Just ask.
